Be More Swan vs Squarespace, Wix, Webador and Lovable

Most website builders hand you a template or a prompt box and leave the words to you. Our Website Assistant writes your website from your own business details, with a shop, bookings, forms and reviews built in. Your Mystery Shopper checks it against your competitors every week, and your Business Mentor helps you grow the business behind it.

What you’d actually pay

Typical prices for a small business website, a month. The others are shown on annual billing, which is their cheapest way to pay; paying monthly costs more.

Be More Swan £29 a month

Your Website Assistant and Business Mentor on The Workflow Saver. Hosting, shop, bookings, forms and reviews included, and no plan limits your pages.

Add your Mystery Shopper, Blog Assistant and every other assistant: £69 a month. Prices exclude VAT; save 20% when you pay annually.

Squarespace £12–£17 a month

Basic or Core, billed annually. Basic adds a 2% fee on shop sales.

No free plan.

Wix £9–£16 a month

Light or Core, billed annually. Core is the cheapest plan that can sell online.

Free plan with Wix ads.

Webador £4.50–£17 a month

Lite to Business, billed annually, before VAT. Lite shows ads on your site.

Free plan without your own domain.

Lovable $25 a month

Pro, in US dollars, for 100 credits a month ($21 billed annually). More building means buying more credits.

Free plan with daily credits.

The others cost less for a website on its own. What you pay us for is the part they leave to you: the words on every page, written from your business, and a Mentor and team to grow the business behind it.

Where Be More Swan wins

The words are done for you

The hard part of a website is knowing what to say. Your Website Assistant drafts every page from what it already knows about your business: headings, wording, the questions buyers ask and a clear next step, in plain British English.

It never makes things up

It only states what’s in your business details and products. Where a page needs a fact only you know, like a customer quote or how long you’ve been trading, it leaves a clear [placeholder], and the editor lists every one left before you publish.

Changes don’t cost you credits

Edit the words yourself, or ask in chat and see exactly what will change before anything is saved. Editing and approving changes is free. A whole-site draft or an import uses 1 task from your monthly allowance.

Bring your current site with you

Already on Squarespace, Wix or WordPress? Give the Website Assistant the address and it reads your home page and menu pages into a draft, keeping your own words as they are. You compare it with your current site and choose whether to use it.

Shop, bookings, forms and reviews, without add-ons

Sell your products with checkout on your own Stripe account, and we take no cut. Take bookings for appointments, classes and events, with deposits, reminders and calendar sync. Collect enquiries and sign-ups, and ask happy customers for a review. All part of your Website Assistant, with no extra apps to buy.

A Mystery Shopper that gets things fixed

Every week your Mystery Shopper reads your site the way buyers do, scores it against up to three competitors and suggests what to change, with the wording written. Hand a change to your Website Assistant and it makes it once you approve. After you publish, the Mystery Shopper checks the change is live.

A blog that writes itself, on your own site

Articles from your Blog Assistant appear on your website at /blog, in your voice and only once you’ve approved them. No copying and pasting between tools.

A website, and someone in your corner

Every plan includes a Business Mentor that tells you what it would sort out first, helps you plan and checks your week with you. It makes at most 3 suggestions a week, and nothing changes without your click.

Room to grow beyond the website

When you’re ready, The Busywork Buster adds assistants for social media, blog, email and leads. They share your products, your brand and each other’s work, so your site and your marketing say the same thing.

When another builder is the better choice

We’d rather you pick the right tool than the wrong one with us.

  • Squarespace, if design is everything. Its templates are polished, and you get fine control over how every page looks.
  • Wix, if you want to place every element yourself. Its drag-and-drop editor gives you more layout freedom than we do, and its app market has many more add-ons.
  • Webador, if the lowest price matters most. Its paid plans start at a few pounds a month, and it’s simple to use when you’re happy to write your own words.
  • Lovable, if you’re building an app, not a business website. Logins, databases and custom features are what it’s for, and you can take the code away with you on a paid plan.

If what you want is a clear, professional website without writing it yourself, plus help growing the business behind it, that’s what we’re built for.

Common questions

Is the Website Assistant a website builder?

Yes, but it works the other way round. Instead of handing you a template to fill, it writes every page from your business details, products and brand kit, shows you a live preview on a desktop or a phone, and publishes the site when you’re happy.

Can I move my site over from Squarespace, Wix or another builder?

Yes, if it is your own. Give the Website Assistant the address of your current site, whether it is on Wix, Squarespace, WordPress or built for you, and it reads your home page and the pages in its menu into a draft. Your own words are kept as they are, and you choose whether to use the imported draft.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. When you publish, your site goes live on its own free address, yourname.bemoreswan.site, or on a domain you own.

How many pages can I have?

As many as your site needs. No plan limits how many pages your website has.

Can I sell online and take bookings?

Yes. Your Website Assistant can add a shop, with checkout on your own Stripe account and no cut taken by us (Stripe’s card fees apply), and bookings for appointments, classes and events, with deposits, reminders and sync with your Google or Outlook calendar. Prices and services come from your Business Information, so they are never made up.

How do the Mystery Shopper and Website Assistant work together?

Every week the Mystery Shopper scores your site against up to three competitors and suggests changes, with the wording written. Choose to hand a change to your Website Assistant and it shows you exactly what it will change; nothing is saved until you approve it. After you publish, the Mystery Shopper checks the change is live. This works for sites hosted with Be More Swan, on a plan with both assistants.

Which plan do I need?

The Workflow Saver includes one assistant plus your Business Mentor. Choose the Website Assistant and you get your website, shop, bookings, forms and reviews. For the Mystery Shopper, your blog at /blog and the rest of the team working together, choose The Busywork Buster.

How is this different from Lovable?

Lovable is an AI tool for building web apps from prompts, and each change you ask for uses credits. The Website Assistant is made for small business websites: it already knows your business, never makes up facts, and editing your pages yourself or approving changes it suggests costs nothing.

Does it use tasks?

Drafting your whole site, importing your current site, or having it place your own words on a page each uses 1 task from your monthly allowance. Editing pages yourself, and approving changes it suggests in chat, costs nothing.
