Partner Terms
Version 1.0 · Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. These terms
1.1 These Partner Terms are an agreement between you and Be More Swan Ltd (“we”, “us”) about the Be More Swan partner programme: recommending Be More Swan and earning commission when people you introduce become paying customers.
1.2 You accept them when you apply to be a partner, or on your Partner page. If you also use Be More Swan for your own business, our Terms of Service apply to that use as well. Customers who simply refer a friend from inside the app are on our refer-a-friend scheme, which earns referral tokens, not commission; these terms are not about that scheme.
2. Becoming a partner
2.1 You apply on our partner page. We review every application and may approve or decline it at our discretion. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
2.2 Once approved you get a personal invite link, and we may also give you a memorable partner code. Keep your account details secure; you are responsible for activity on your partner account.
3. How you earn commission
3.1 — Who counts. You earn commission when someone signs up through your invite link or partner code, or enters your code when choosing a plan, and then becomes a paying customer. They must be new to Be More Swan: you do not earn on existing or past paying customers, on yourself, on accounts you or your business control, or on someone already introduced by another person. The first introduction we record is the one that counts.
3.2 — How much. Commission is a percentage of what the customer actually pays us, excluding VAT, for the commission period. Your Partner page shows the rate and period that apply to new customers.
3.3 — Rates are fixed per customer. A customer earns you the rate and period in force on the day they first pay. We may change the rate for future customers by giving notice; a change never reduces the rate on customers who have already paid.
3.4 — Free periods earn nothing. Customers you introduce get a free trial and their first paid month free. Commission starts from the first payment that takes money.
4. When and how you are paid
4.1 — Holding period. Each commission waits for a holding period after the customer's payment (currently 30 days) so that refunds can settle. It then becomes ready to pay.
4.2 — Monthly payouts. We pay ready-to-pay commission in a monthly payout run, once you have at least the minimum (currently £50) and have confirmed your payout details. Smaller balances roll over. We pay in pounds sterling by PayPal, Wise or transfer to a UK bank account.
4.3 — Refunds and disputes. If a customer's payment is refunded or disputed, the commission on it is reduced or cancelled. If we have already paid it, the amount is deducted from your future payouts.
4.4 — Your payout details. You set them on your Partner page. For your security, a change only takes effect when you confirm it from the email we send you. We are not responsible for a payment made to details you gave us.
4.5 — Tax. You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax on your commission. Commission is stated inclusive of any VAT you may owe on it. If you are VAT-registered, tell us your VAT number before your first payout and we will agree how VAT is invoiced.
5. How you may promote Be More Swan
5.1 — Say it is an ad. Because you are paid when people join through you, anything you publish promoting Be More Swan must be clearly identifiable as advertising — for example “#ad” on social posts, or a clear statement in emails and videos — as the UK advertising codes (CAP Code) and consumer protection law require. Drafts from your Partner Assistant include a label; keep it.
5.2 — Be accurate. Describe Be More Swan honestly. Do not invent features, results, prices, offers, testimonials or endorsements, or imply that you are Be More Swan or speak for us.
5.3 — Not allowed:
- Listing your link or code on coupon, voucher, deal or cashback sites.
- Paid search adverts that bid on “Be More Swan” or close variations, or domains, social accounts or apps that could be mistaken for ours.
- Spam: emails or messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you, breaking UK GDPR or the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
- Paying, rewarding or incentivising people to sign up, beyond the offer we give them.
- Anything misleading, offensive or unlawful, or that would harm our reputation.
5.4 — Your content is yours to check. You are responsible for what you publish, including anything drafted for you by your Partner Assistant. Read it before you post it.
6. Your relationship with us
6.1 You are an independent partner, not our employee, agent or representative, and you cannot make commitments on our behalf.
6.2 You may use our name and the materials we provide only to promote Be More Swan under these terms. We may ask you to change or remove anything that does not follow them.
7. Suspension and ending
7.1 You can leave the programme at any time by telling us.
7.2 We may suspend or end your partnership if you break these terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud or self-referral, or if we close or change the programme. While suspended you do not earn commission on new payments.
7.3 When a partnership ends we pay commission you earned properly before it ended, under section 4, unless it was earned through a breach of these terms or fraud, in which case it is forfeited.
8. Changes to these terms
8.1 We may update these terms. For material changes we will tell you by email or on your Partner page and ask you to accept the new version. If you do not accept, you may leave the programme. Changes never apply backwards to commission already earned.
9. Personal data
9.1 We use your details to run the programme — reviewing your application, tracking introductions, paying you and meeting tax and accounting duties — as described in our Privacy Policy. People you invite see your first name on your invite page.
9.2 We never tell you who the customers you introduced are; your Partner page shows them as numbered customers only. If you learn who they are some other way, you may only use that information lawfully.
10. Liability and general
10.1 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud. Otherwise, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commission due to you in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or loss of profit.
10.2 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
